After being almost extinct, wild dogs were successfully re-introduced in Moremi National Park, Botswana, some years ago. Most of our wild dog pictures are from that park. The habitat is perfect with a mix of water, stretches of open land and bush. Wild dogs hunt in packs and rely on a combination of speed and stamina. We have seen packs of 40+ dogs hunting. One second your completely surrounded by dogs, the next second second you only see a couple of stragglers. Very difficult to photograph, as they move in very unpredictable ways.
